When oil glands are clogged by bacteria, dead skin cells, and excess oil formed by the glands, they result in the formation of acne. After the healing of these acne, they sometimes leave scars because of the associated inflammation/ infection or because of repeated picking of acne and black heads/white heads by the patient themselves and then these are known as acne scars. They mostly appear as shallow to deep depressions resulting in unpleasant texture/uneven color.
Superficial acne marks can be treated by medicinal treatment and other cosmetic therapies like Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels. However deep acne scars require specific treatments for the reduction of their appearance.
Micro-needling with PRP is also called as Collagen Induction Therapy. It is the latest cosmetic advancement that aims to reduce the appearance of acne marks, injury scars and fine lines, instilling a rejuvenated and smoother texture to the face. Microneedling with PRP can also be done to instill a glowing texture, this procedure is popularly known as Vampire Facial.
Microneedling with PRP effectively helps to dull the appearance of stretch marks and to uniform the uneven skin tone.
Get a clearer, luminous and eventoned skin with Microneedling and Fractional CO2 Laser therapy.

The Carbon Dioxide (C02) Fractional Laser Resurfacing removes layers of skin tissue in a fractionated method (columns of skin are removed, leaving the skin surrounding each column intact to aid in healing) to help reduce “age-spots” (also called sun freckles, liver spots, and lentigines), fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, skin laxity, textural irregularities, dull tone, and a thinned collagen layer of the face, neck, and chest but it is most commonly used and is the gold standard treatment for Acne Scars.
Approximately 4-6 sessions, scheduled at an interval of one and a half months, are required. However, the total number of sessions may increase depending upon the depth of the scars.
Approximately 60-70% improvement in the visibility of acne scars is expected after 6 sessions. The improvements can be enhanced by increasing the number of sessions. No technology can erase acne scars by 100%.
